Langar Primary joins Aspire
Wed 01 Nov 2023Aspire is delighted to welcome Langar Primary School into the Aspire MAT. Langar's conversion started as through the sponsored route but it has subsequently been rated GOOD by Ofsted.

Oak Tree Ofsted
Mon 17 Jul 2023Congratulations to our Oak Tree Primary School & Nursery for the outcome of the Ofsted inspection held on 13th and 14th June 2023 at which it was judged to be GOOD in all areas. It was previously inspected in 2019 prior to sponsored academisation when it was judged to be Inadequate overall. This is an amazing journey for Oak Tree which was previuosly the worst rated school on Nottinghamshire and is an area with the highest deprivation.

Archbishop Cranmer award
Mon 10 Jul 2023Congratulations to Melanie Stevens, Headteacher at Archbishop Cranmer C of E Academy, for receiving a Certificate of Excellence after being nominated for Primary Headteacher of the Year through the Pearson National Teaching Awards.

Kirkby Woodhouse Ofsted
Fri 07 Jul 2023Congratulations to our Kirkby Woodhouse School for the outcome of the Ofsted inspection on 6th and 7th June 2023 at which was judged to be GOOD in all areas but OUTSTANDING in behaviour and attitudes. It was previously inspected in January 2020 when it was judged to be Good overall.

Winthorpe Ofsted
Fri 14 Apr 2023Congratulations to our Winthorpe Primary School for the outcome the Ofsted inspection on 23rd March 2023 at which it retained its rating of GOOD overall. It was previously inspected in 2018 prior to its academisation.

New CEO
Thu 01 Sep 2022The Board of the Aspire MAT are delighted to welcome Kate Watson as the CEO of the MAT, succeeding the previous CEO, Martyn Skinner.
Kate was most recently Headteacher at Oak Tree Primary School, and previously Headteacher at Archbishop Cranmer CofE Academy and Executive Headteacher at Gunthorpe CofE Primary.

East Bridgford St Peter's Ofsted
Tue 31 May 2022Congratulations to our East Bridgford St Peter's CofE Academy for its recent Ofsted inspection outcome. It has achieved a judgement of 'Good with Outstanding features', having been rated Outstanding for Personal Development. Its previous inspection was in 2008 when it was judged as Outstanding.

Christmas in Aspire MAT
Thu 16 Dec 2021Across all 7 of our primary schools, Christmas is being celebrated in many different ways. In the midst of a wide variety of activities, each school has kept a clear focus on where it all began - in a stable in Bethlehem over 2000 years ago.
In sharing these photos from our various Nativity performances, we would like to wish everyone visiting our website a wonderful Christmas, full of joy and peace.

St. Peter's Cross Country Success
Mon 13 Dec 2021Congratulations to the cross country runners at St. Peter's. You'll see from the results tables below that both the boys' team and the girls' team have finished top of the Nottinghamshire Winter XC League - a fantastic achievement!

Archbishop Cranmer Horticultural Show
Wed 08 Dec 2021Archbishop Cranmer held their horticultural show for the first time last year, as all other country shows had been cancelled due to Covid, and it was so enjoyable they have decided to make it an annual event! The show was held again earlier this term and the event was described by the headteacher as "a wonderful celebration of nature and spirituality."
