Congratulations to Archbishop Cranmer Church of England Academy for achieving a ranking in the top 250 state primary school in England, as published in the Sunday Times.
Archbishop Cranmer, in the Nottinghamshire village of Aslockton, was awarded this ranking based on the aggregated average scales scores achieved by children in reading, grammar and maths from SATS taken in 2019.
The Aspire MAT is delighted to welcome Winthorpe Primary School to Aspire from 1st November as its latest converter academy.
Winthorpe is the 7th academy to join the Aspire family.
Ongoing guidance is being issued from the Aspire MAT which has been sent to all parents in our academies via headteachers.
This advice goes further in some areas than the current guidance for schools from the DfE. It is appreciated that this is a rapidly changing issue and that guidance and information in the letter will have to revised in the light of new information and national recommendations. Any revised information will be made available here, as well as through our academies.
